Quick answer

What is a form backend service?

A form on a website needs somewhere to send its data. Normally that means a server that receives the message, checks it for spam, stores it and emails you. A form backend service does all of that for you, so your site can stay simple, even if it is plain HTML on a static host.

RSFlowHub Forms handles contact forms and newsletter signups. Paste one script tag and the form appears on your page, or keep your own design and send the fields to our JSON API. Messages land in your dashboard and inbox with spam already filtered out.

Features

Everything a form needs, nothing it does not

Built for sites that just need messages and signups to arrive safely.

A real inbox

Search, filter, reply by email, mark as replied, export to CSV. You also get an email for every new message.

Spam handled for you

A hidden trap for bots, speed limits and content rules on every plan. Spam is kept for review and never counts against your limit.

Newsletter signups done right

Double opt-in, one-click unsubscribe links and CSV export. We store your list; you send from your own tool.

Embed or API

One script tag that cannot clash with your site, or a plain JSON API for your own markup.

AI helpers when you want them

Smarter spam checks, message tags and suggested replies on paid plans. They pause quietly if you reach the monthly allowance, and never touch your API credits.

Privacy tools built in

Consent checkbox, automatic deletion after the days you choose, and one-click download or delete for any person who asks.

How it works

How to add a contact form to your website in 3 steps

No server, no SMTP setup, no plugin to keep updated.

  1. 1

    Create a form

Sign up free, open Forms in your dashboard and choose a contact form or a newsletter signup.

  2. 2

    Set it up

Pick the fields, button text, success message, colour and privacy options, and the email address that should get new messages.

  3. 3

    Add it to your site

Paste the one-line script tag where the form should appear, or send the fields as JSON to the Forms API from your own design.

Copy-paste snippets for HTML, WordPress, Shopify, React and Laravel are in the Forms docs. Want to play with it first? Open the live demo.

Two form types

Contact forms and newsletter signups

Use one or both. Each form gets its own token, settings and inbox.

Contact form

For enquiries, quote requests, feedback and support messages. You decide what to ask.

  • Up to 8 fields: short text, email, phone, long message or a dropdown
  • Mark any field as required; checks run in the browser and on our server
  • Your own button text, thank-you message or redirect page
  • Email alert for each message, reply straight from the dashboard
  • Automatic reply to the sender and a signed webhook on Pro

Newsletter signup

For building a mailing list you can trust, without signing up for a full email marketing platform.

  • Email address, plus an optional name field
  • Double opt-in: people confirm by clicking a link in an email
  • Unconfirmed signups are cleaned up after 30 days
  • CSV export with a one-click unsubscribe link for each person
  • Send your newsletter from any email tool you already use
Spam protection

How we keep spam out of your inbox

Anyone who has put an email address on a website knows the flood that follows. Every form gets several layers of protection, and none of them ask your visitors to solve a puzzle.

Suspected spam is not thrown away. It goes into a separate filter you can check, and it never counts towards your monthly message limit. To a bot, a blocked message looks like a normal success, so it has nothing to learn from.

  1. Hidden trap field

An invisible field that people never see but bots fill in. If it is filled, the message is marked as spam.

  2. Speed limits

One visitor cannot fire off dozens of messages in a minute.

  3. Content rules

Messages stuffed with links, sent from throwaway email domains or repeating the same text are flagged.

  4. AI second opinion (paid plans)

A short AI check on messages that get past the rules. Email addresses are never sent to the AI.

For developers

Keep your own design, use our API

Already have a form that matches your site perfectly? Keep it. Send the fields as JSON to the Forms API with your public form token and you get the same spam filtering, limits, inbox and email alerts as the embed.

  • Works with React, Vue, Next.js, Astro, Hugo, Jekyll or plain HTML
  • Clear validation errors per field, ready to show next to your inputs
  • Lock the token to your own domains so nobody else can post to it
  • Signed webhook on Pro to push each message into your own system

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Plans, limits, privacy and setup, answered in plain language. More in the FAQ centre, or contact us.

What is RSFlowHub Forms?
It is a service for contact forms and newsletter signups. Add one script tag (or send JSON to our API from your own design) and every message arrives in your dashboard and inbox with spam already filtered, without you running a backend.
Do I need an API plan or credits to use Forms?
No. Forms has its own plans and does not use your API credits. The Free plan needs no payment, and Forms plans are cheaper when you also hold a paid API plan.
How does spam protection work?
Every plan uses a hidden trap for bots, speed limits and content rules. Suspected spam is kept for review and never counts against your monthly limit. Paid plans add AI spam checks.
Does Forms send my newsletter?
No. It collects and stores signups with double opt-in (people confirm by email) and lets you export them as CSV with their unsubscribe links. You send newsletters from your own email tool.
Can I use my own form design?
Yes. Build the form in your own HTML and send the fields as JSON to the Forms API with your public form token. The embed and the API give the same spam protection and limits.
Is visitor data deleted automatically?
You choose how long messages are kept and older ones are deleted every night. Unconfirmed newsletter signups are removed after 30 days, and you can download or delete everything stored about one email address.
Does it work on static sites like GitHub Pages, Netlify or Vercel?
Yes. That is one of the main reasons people use it. A static site has no server to receive form posts, so you paste the script tag (or call the API from your own form) and RSFlowHub receives, filters and stores the messages for you.
Which fields can a contact form have?
A contact form can have up to 8 fields. Each field can be short text, email, phone, long text (message) or a dropdown, and you choose which ones are required. A newsletter form is an email address with an optional name field.
Can I send submissions to Slack, Zapier or my own app?
On the Pro plan each new message can be sent to any HTTPS address you choose as a signed webhook, which works with your own backend and with automation tools that accept webhooks. Every plan can also email you each message and export everything to CSV.
Can visitors get an automatic reply?
Yes, on the Pro plan. You write the subject and text once, and every person who sends the contact form gets it straight away, so they know the message arrived.
Can I show my own thank-you page after someone submits?
Yes. Set your own success message, or give an HTTPS address and the visitor is sent to that page after a successful submit.
Is RSFlowHub Forms a good free alternative to building a form backend?
For most websites, yes. Building your own means a server, an email setup, spam filtering, storage and privacy deletion to maintain. Forms gives you all of that on a free plan, and you only move to a paid plan when you need more forms, more messages or extras like webhooks.
