API usage is metered in credits, and rate limits are applied per API key on a rolling window.

Monthly Quotas

Each API Key is bound by a monthly overall usage limit. Reaching it yields a 429 LIMIT_EXCEEDED error.

Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

Users can BYOK to bypass standard platform token costs, retaining only minimal margin fees.

Low balance / Monthly limit
When your API usage exceeds the monthly limit configured for your account, requests return a 429 LIMIT_EXCEEDED error. Upgrade your plan or contact support to raise your limits. Check your usage via Dashboard → Settings.
